The innovative, electronic functionality of the lightbulb has a great deal of advantages over the traditional electrical candle. In traditional chandeliers the wiring is often antiquated and there is a chance that the dangerous 230-volt lightbulbs may be touched. There is also a greater likelihood of short-circuiting. The E-candle operates at a fire-safe and touch-safe voltage.
